Compared to other European countries, living in the three countries of the consortium is not overly expensive. The price of food, accommodation, clothing, cultural activities, etc. is equivalent to the EU average. In fact, the cost of living is relatively low compared to Scandinavian countries or the UK.

Tuition fees and others

  • Tuition fees: 3.500 € per semester for non-EU students, 1.500 € per semester for EU students
  • Visa and permits (depends on nationality): 0 – 400 €

Students’ average monthly expenses

It is difficult to say exactly how much money a student needs per month. The cost of living varies from city to city. And, of course, the amount of money you will need greatly depends on how economically you live.

  • Accommodation (furnished, including utiilities, individual or shared, etc.): ~ 200 – 350 € per month
  • Living expenses (food, clothes, personal services, etc.): 300 – 400 € per month
  • Monthly public transport ticket: 24 € per month in Lisbon, 20 € per month in Castellón, 0 € (included in tuition fees) in Münster
  • Insurance (health, personal liability, etc.): 40 – 100 € per month
  • Books/study materials: 50 – 70 € per month
